Welcome Note from Ms Elizabeth

Dear Parents,
Welcome to our children’s nursery, home away from home - Emerald City Nursery – established in January 2006 and conveniently situated in the Jumeirah 2 area (half way between Lloyds and Emirates Banks on Al Wasl Road).  We recognize the vast importance of these early years in your children's lives and we have a dedicated team of caring, professional and qualified staff who are passionate about teaching and caring for young children. 

Our Nursery curriculum combines the British Early Years Foundation and Montessori teaching methods offering your child preschool activities designed to promote their all-round development. We want each and every child to have fun and feel safe and secure.   From baby daycare right through to foundation stage we offer children from 2 months up to 4 years a loving and stimulating environment in which they are encouraged to be children and to learn through the wonders of play.  We recognize each child as an individual and pride ourselves in promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and unconditional love for each and every child.


About Ms Elizabeth Hart

Ms Elizabeth is from the United Kingdom and holds a Higher National Certificate in Early Childhood and Education in which she received a merit for Child Protection. Elizabeth has been working with children under the age of five for the past fourteen years. In 2006 she moved from Scotland to Dubai and began working as a teacher at Emerald City Nursery. Three years later Elizabeth took on the role of Nursery Manager. “I believe we have the best job in the world! Helping children to develop into curious little learners who explore and question absolutely everything… it’s so rewarding.”

About Us

Emerald City Nursery is one of our four Beautiful Minds Nurseries. We pride ourselves on being a cosy, homely kid’s nursery.

Our classrooms and indoor play areas are bright and cheerful with plenty of natural daylight designed to positively stimulate your children.

Interactive Learning Boards are fitted in all the classrooms for children over the age of two years. We have an extensive 'planning library' which is updated on a regular basis; our children thrive on this modern way of learning and by the age of three are ready to use the classroom computers. 

Our beautiful Nursery organic vegetable garden and flower beds are used as an extension of our classrooms and appropriate areas are set up each day with a variety of exciting preschool activities encouraging your children to become independent learners who are excited and happy to explore.

Yellow Brick Road Nursery, located in Al Garhoud, opposite the Aviation Club
Crystal Valley Nursery, located in Arabian Center, Mizhar
Indigo Valley Nursery, located near Terminal 2 and the Airport Free Zone, this Nursery also has a  Preschool  'Learning Support Unit' for children requiring extra learning assistance (Autism, ADHD)
