Inclusion

At Emerald City Nursery School for kids, we believe in equal rights for all children- INCLUSION. One of the principles of the British Curriculum; Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS), is the unique child. Emerald City Nursery's curriculum is derived from the EYFS and all the Preschool Activities are planned keeping in mind the individual learning styles of children and their interests and developmental needs.

We practice inclusive education and equal rights for all children as we believe in uniqueness of each child.
We follow the criteria that must be taken into consideration as stated by the Ministry of Social Affairs; we do our best to integrate into the Nursery children with disabilities or developmental delay as discussed below:

Children with hearing loss or with Cochlear Implant
Children with visual impairment
Children with Speech - Language delay
Children with Autistic disorders

If a child requires extra learning support assistance, we can gladly accept them in our sister Nursery, Indigo Valley Nursery (near Terminal 2), which has a designated Preschool ‘Early Learning Support Unit’ with specialized staff.

Indigo Valley Nursery is a Nursery complex of over 8000 sq. metres fully designed by Ms Bernadette to accommodate and fully integrates all Nursery children's daily needs. This Beautiful Minds Nursery has in addition to the other three Nurseries a fully operational Learning Support Unit. The children accepted into the Learning Support Unit require extra support to assist them academically and socially so they will be accepted into the UAE or International Education system.
